Llandeilo jazz festival, festival of music

The sun is beating down and rhythm is beating out in Llandeilo. Our colourful streets are filled with music and the sounds of people having fun.
This pretty little market town with its sleepy river and dramatic scenery really comes to life in July, starting summer with a swing.
Music rings out from every corner and everyone is here to enjoy it.

Yet another successful jazz festival has just finished and a fantastic festival of music is about to begin.
Whether it’s a quick quartet, a lunchtime recital, or hearing the harp, the jitterbug, jive, swing or samba, this town has it all this month and if you’re not dancing on the streets, in the courtyards and the gardens, then you’re not here!

With such fantastic weather and fun events it’s important to look your best. Dress for movement, to keep cool and for fun, after all life really is too short for boring clothes!

Before you know it the Tywi arts trail will be open with our amazing local artists letting you into their private studios and a few of their trade secrets! You can explore the stunning Tywi valley while enjoying the work of some of our most celebrated painters, printmakers, sculptors and ceramicists, asking questions, drinking tea and eating cake.

Pop up Carmarthen street while you are here and come and visit our pretty store, check out our summer sale, jazzy window and not least of all our amazing selection of summer clothes.

Whatever you are after this summer, Llandeilo has it. With friendly locals, quirky boutiques and street entertainment, fabulous bars and fantastic eateries , you would be forgiven for thinking you were in the south of France or the Italian provences. Believe it or not, this year it’s better, this year it’s all about Wales.
